Govt approves R&D tasks value ₹61.09 cr in textile sector

The ministry of textile on Thursday permitted 20 R&D tasks value 61.09 crore throughout key strategic areas equivalent to Geotech, Protech, Indutech, Sustainable Textiles, Sportech and Buildtech segments.

The allocation was introduced after commerce minister Piyush Goyal held the sixth Mission Steering Group (MSG) assembly of the Nationwide Technical Textiles Mission as we speak.
