Govt units foodgrain manufacturing goal of 332 MT for 2023-24

New Delhi: The federal government has set a goal of 332 million tonne (MT) for foodgrain manufacturing for the 2023-24 crop 12 months (July-June), a 2.6% improve from the earlier 12 months. 

In accordance with the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, the aim contains the manufacturing of 29.25 MT of pulses, 44 MT of oilseed, and 17 MT of millets, with methods being developed in anticipation of El Nino’s influence.
